General Information

The TC Project Information Dissemination Environment (TC-PRIDE) system has been designed to provide an easy interface to information on technical co-operation projects. TC-PRIDE is available to Agency staff and Member States’ representatives. Registration is required.

This system was developed by the Programme Co-ordination Section, Department of Technical Co-operation (TCPCS).

Please note that the system has a built-in "time-out" of two hours: If you have not touched TC-PRIDE in the last two hours, you will need to log in again.

Navigation

Project selection
After having logged in to TC-PRIDE, you will find yourself on the "Main Menu" page. Select the project(s) you are interested in either by inputting the project number directly or by choosing one of the other selection options provided on the "Main Menu" page. If you have input a project number, the system will take you directly to this project. If you have chosen one of the other selection options, the system will first build a "Project List" on the basis of the selected criteria; you can then access the individual projects by clicking on the respective project number on this list.

The TC-PRIDE system also builds a list of "Last visited projects" for you. This list becomes visible on the "Main Menu" page as soon as you have looked at an individual project; this project and any other projects visited subsequently are automatically added to the list. The number of projects that can be added to this list is unlimited, and the system keeps the list in its memory (even after log-off from TC-PRIDE) until you clear it. You can thus always select a project of your preference from this list.

Navigation inside a project
Once you have chosen a project, the system will take you to the project’s "General" page. While inside a project, you will always see - on the left of the screen - the navigation window; it shows the topics around which the project information is structured. Click on any of the underlined items, and the system will take you to the corresponding site. For a few of these topics, all information is contained on one page. For the majority, however, more information than the one shown on the opening page can be found; the means vary a bit from one topic to another but essentially consist of either "Details" buttons, underlined links, or further selection options.

Search tip
You can use the following means to search for a particular detail of information on any page on TC-PRIDE:

When you are finished browsing through one project, click either on the "Main Menu" or the "Project List" option at the bottom of the navigation window and select the next project you are interested in.

Data

Data sources
The data displayed by TC-PRIDE are obtained from TC databases. They are current and "live" data in the sense that whenever a record update is made in any of the various TC applications, the results shown on TC-PRIDE change accordingly. Thus, all staff using any of the following systems are continuously making an active contribution to this joint information dissemination effort of the TC Department:
